Mikvah Chaya Mushka is named in honor of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson;
wife of the seventh Lubavitcher rebbe Rebbetzin Hat.jpg(Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson), daughter of the sixth rebbe (Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn), and granddaughter of the fifth rebbe (Rabbi Sholom DovBer Schneersohn). As a child she fled persecution in Russia,
and as a young woman she escaped the Nazi invasion of France, settling with the
Rebbe in New York.

She is revered for her steadfast love of the shluchim, the Rebbe’s emissaries across the world, and for her devotion to her husband’s holy work. To learn more about this fascinating woman who has inspired so many with her life of quiet heroism, click HERE.
